How our business works is a very simple but effective process.

Iain Mutch Specialist Cars are not brokers, unlike many companies. Therefore we buy your car regardless of whether it can be ‘sold’ or ‘placed’ first.

We deal with you directly and by the same token you deal with us and only us.

When you first make contact with Iain Mutch Specialist Cars, either by phone or email, you will be speaking not just with our buyer, but with Mr Iain Mutch himself, founder of Iain Mutch Specialist Cars unlike many companies who will have an administrator contact you first before you are then put through to a manager who then perhaps will start negotiations with you. You rarely get to meet the person behind the ‘deal’ as when and if an agreement is made often a collection company is also then involved.

Based solely on your description of your vehicle, ie: general condition, service history, any dents or scrapes, paintwork, and tyres, we will hopefully agree a deal with you to purchase your car. We will then arrange a mutually convenient time to come and view the car, pay you for the car and drive the car away. A very simple process!

WE COME TO YOU! This has always been our company standard. People are busy, its is not always convenient to drive their car all over the country to sell it. Not only can this prove expensive on fuel, it is also adding mileage to your car!

We do NOT try and renegotiate the agreed price, providing your car is as described.

Not only do you deal with Mr Iain Mutch from the initial contact with us, you will be dealing with Iain Mutch throughout the transaction. It will also be Iain Mutch who comes to your business or home to both pay you for your car and drive the car away.

We never use collection/delivery companies.

You will always have cleared funds in your chosen bank account prior to your car being driven away. This can be done however you wish, either by telegraphic transfer, chaps, a bank draft, the choice is yours. We can even go along to your chosen bank with you to make the payment for your complete peace of mind.

If your car is subject to a finance agreement, we will ask you to obtain a settlement figure from the finance company in writing, we will then settle this on your behalf again prior to your car being driven away.

Throughout this process, Iain Mutch will also advise and assist in anyway with the purchase of your replacement vehicle if you wish. With our many reputable contacts.

In summary then we are not your usual car buying service.

• The funds are in your bank account before we leave with the car.
